Topic:  Identifying Birds in the Garden

Speaker:  Kent Duncan

Have you ever wondered what the name of that bird was that chirped so sweetly as you sat  in your garden? It is a special time listening to all of the different sounds that surround you. Who are they?

The Mother Lode Rose Society is hosting Kent Duncan of the Lincoln Hills Bird Group at their monthly meeting on May 6 @ 1:30 P.M. at the Amador Senior Center 229 New York Ranch Road, Jackson.

Kent joined the Lincoln Hills Bird Group in 2003. Before moving to Lincoln Hills, he was always enjoying watching and listening to the birds in his garden in Concord. In 2005, after the illness of the leader of the Bird Group, Kent took over the position of leading that group. He has participated in the Annual Bird Count for the past 10 years, which is sponsored by the National Audubon Society.

He has continued to present his programs of ‘Birds In The Garden” to many interested groups.

Please join us at the May 6th meeting and get acquainted with the beautiful birds in your garden.
