• The Mother Lode Rose Society will hold its monthly meeting on Tuesday, August 5, 2008, at the Senior Center in Jackson, 229 New York Ranch Rd. This month’s program will be given by Barbara Gordon. Her program will be “Rose Crafts.” She will talk about and show us what we could do with roses such as rose jelly, potpourri, beads, pictures, ornaments, cards, candy, and bookmarks. This meeting is open to the public. Bring roses from your garden for our monthly mini rose show.
